Personal life and education

Mr. Eazi was born and spent his formative years in Lagos. where he completed his primary and secondary education and received his West Africa Senior School Certificate and First School Leaving Certificate.

After completing his secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria, Mr. Eazi moved to Kumasi, Ghana, in 2008, where he enrolled in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to study mechanical engineering.

Career

At PeeWee and Klumonsta studios, where he launched his breakthrough track “PIPI DANCE” and also recorded his debut mixtape “About to blow,” which was produced by Klumonsta, Mr. Eazi first realized his passion for music production.

He then collaborated with Ghanaian front line producer Dj Juls, who is located in the UK, to make “Bankulize” Remix, a song from the mixtape “About to blow.”

The song was created in Ghana and is influenced by that country, yet Mr. Eazi is a global citizen and lacks any nationality. In addition to making Mr. Eazi famous, this new mix also helped other songs like “Skintight,” “Hollup,” and “Sample You” become hits.

After the track “Skin Tight,” featuring Efya, was released, he attracted a large international following. On February 10, 2017, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, his second mixtape, was made available.

Tekno, Olamide, Phyno, Mugeez, Medikal, DJ Cuppy, Falz, and Big Lean were all featured on the mixtape. Maleek Berry, Masterkraft, Legendury Beatz, and Young John all contributed to its production.

Several publications stated in March 2018 that Mr. Eazi had signed a record deal with Diplo’s label Mad Decent. With Universal Africa, a division of Universal Music Group, Mr. Eazi inked a licensing agreement.
