Sauti Sol Sets Album Release Date Amid Coronavirus Crisis

COVID-19  has affected the music industry in a tough way, preventing artists from touring or performing any concerts to make a living. Kenya’s highflying Afro-pop boy band Sauti Sol knows that we are all going through tough times at the moment and some fresh music would certainly help lift our mood.

The boy band has been nothing short of prolific in recent memory, having blessed us with hits after hits. It feels like a century since they delivered Afrikan Sauce, their last Album.

The Suzanna hitmakers have finally chosen a release date for their release date for their upcoming album  “Midnight Train”.  Early today, Sauti Sol announced that their fifth album would be out on June 5th.

They have already begun their rollout dropping by dropping their second single off the album today.

The renowned band signed a lucrative deal with Universal Music Africa (UMG) at the beginning of 2020, marking a major milestone for the famous four-man group. The deal gave the band access to the music corporation’s diverse network and global audiences.
