Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has announced an additional five coronavirus positive cases in the country.
The five were part of a group of 504 persons who were tested over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 189.
All are Kenyans and only one has a history of travel.
Three of the cases are from Mombasa.

Nairobi and Nyandarua accounted for the other two.
He also revealed that 10 more individuals are set to be discharged from isolation after recovering from the disease.
According to the CS, the country is now able to test at least 600 samples per day, with the tests now being conducted automatically going forward.
