Boity Proud To Be An African Healer: Says “I’m Not Ashamed”

Boity

Three years have gone down the line since Boity, decided to embrace the call of her ancestors to be a traditional healer. And recently the star seem to say the experience is the best decision she has taken for her life.

Recall that in 2016, the Femcee, Actress, Model and TV Host took many of her fans unawares when she announced on social media that she was undergoing training to become a sangoma.

Having an interview with Bona Magazine recently, Boity went down memory lane speaking that even as a child, she dreamt of situations and events that would later occur in real life. The void according to her grew more, as she got older.

She said fulfilment is what overwhelms her now after confiding in someone who she trusted, who had urged to embrace her calling.

Mixed reactions have trailed the rapper and TV star from fans about her calling, and she said she was committed to educating and dispelling rumours about it.

In her interview she hinted, “This is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I’m not ashamed of it. I even unashamedly sniff snuff in public because I understand that it’s part of my calling”

Boity also talked about using snuff in a tweet earlier this year and said that when she pulled it out in public, people often stared at her.
